Problems in Windows 7 connecting a network printer

Hello all, here is my problem. I have a new Windows 7 Pro 64 bit laptop at work, an older Windows XP machine (called the printserver) has an HP 2605dn Laserjet printer connected to it.

When I try to add the printer I click on Network Printer, Windows searches and finds the printer so I click on it and get the message No driver found, click ok to locate manually.

I have gone to the HP website and gotten 3 downloads for universal print drivers, I have these saved on my machine and the printserver. When I then locate these there 10 are .inf files so I click on one (have tried all 10) and get told Windows cannot locate a suitable driver.

It's very frustrating, please can you give me some advice how to connect this network printer? Thanks
