Richer Sounds warranty refund

Hi,

Going through some paperwork the other day and came across the Richer sounds 'Supercare 3yr' warranty documents.

When sold the warranty I was advised if it hadn't been redemed after the 3 years I could return the document and get a full refund.

Noticed in the small print yesterday you only have 30 days post the expriration of the waranty to claim the refund.

It's 9 moths past that but I have two unredeemed policies totalling £60 odd. Am I likely to get my money back?

RS are supposedly very service orientated but I've found at store level this can vary wildly.

Aye...need to take the document into the store.

Wondered if anyone had experience and could save me a trip into town.

Would ing them but if I remember rightly from last time they're operating some dodgy premium number rubbish and aren't so prompt at answering the phone.

I think they have 0330 numbers, at least our local one does.

You're unlikely to get anything back, but as wealdroam says - there's only one way to be sure!

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Yes they do, Richer Sounds, hover your mouse over the map on the right.

  • whilst you don't have a 'right' as such to get the money back - Richer Sounds are very good.

i purchased a tv warranty and was told i could get the money back after not using it but when i went in to change it i was told that they didnt do it on the tv warranties.

I sent an email to head office and whilst i didnt get the cash back they did send me vouchers totalling the cost of the warranty (£100) so better than a kick in the teeth so to speak :)

Oh dear, Richer Sounds should have applied for a super-injunction in this matter.
