Central heating quotes - need help

Options
I need help! I have had a couple of quotes and I am fairly happy with both prices but just don't know if I am comparing like with like. Both have recommended we don't got for a combi because of concerns re: water pressure and also the gas flow (I think). I checked with a neighbour and they had same advice when they were getting a new boiler. I am not bothered about having a combi as space for the hot water tank is not an issue.

The thing I am unsure on really is which boiler to go for. The neighbour was advised by their plumber to have a Baxi as it would mean they could use existing pipework. One of my plumbers has also said the same and advised that to have a Worcester Bosch etc. I would need to have need have new pipework run on the exterior of the house. The other plumber says he can't understand why this would be a problem and that the boiler he has suggested should be fine, but the caveat was that if there could be a problem with the gas flow and it may mean it can't be signed off straightaway and that we need to get British Gas out to sort this out. I am totally confused. Anyway the qoutes are as follows:

Plumber 1 (2 year guarantee)

Remove existing boiler and make good
Supply and fit Baxi Solo 24HE
Flush system
Clean out F&E tank
Add inhibitor to system
Notify relevant building control of new boiler installation
Remove all waste from site

£1650

Plumber 2
Drain down and disconnect old Potterton open vented boiler. Replace with new Remeha 24kw system boiler (including a 5 year parts and labour guarantee). Fitting this boiler will involve disconnect the feed and expansion tank in the loft and putting the whole central heating system onto a sealed system i.e. this means the system will bew filled via a filling loop on water mains pressure. Power flush central heating system, fit magna clean and update con trols where required.
£1900
