Mobile pay monthly DEAL!!! Not to be missed!

That's not the case. If you check their website its there in black and white and you can purchase it free and just pay the £20 for the first month.
Personally I don't think this deal will last long as it is such a bargain and you'll know that if you know the phone market.
So those of you that want one will have to snap it up quick!
OMG now I sound like I work for Tesco mobile!!:rotfl:0 -
Just one small caveat - we're talking here about a Nokia, still clinging to its Symbian operating system, which just doesn't cut the mustard with smartphones. That's why it's an apparently good deal - it's a phone that's already been outmoded by its Android competitors. One of those (the Orange San Francisco) is in many ways better, and can be obtained for less than £100.0

Not to dowse the enthusiasm but I got my nokia n8 free on Orange for £17.50 a month with 300 mins, unlimited texts, 5 picture messages and 500mb. Might have been cos I was an existing customer but works out at a £60 saving over the life of the contract.
I don't know how comparable that is seeing as the amounts of data and texts and the like are different but I know I would never use anywhere near 750 mins when the majority of them are free anyway....0 -
Verdict
The biggest problem Nokia has is that Symbian is now looking dated, and as the first device to introduce the new Symbian^3 user interface, the N8 is a definite improvement, but not enough has yet changed to make it ready to take on Android or the iPhone. That will come in 2011 with Symbian^4, so Nokia must instead rely on the impressive features, which are undeniable. HD video, a 12-megapixel camera, a great display, good battery life, loads of connectivity options and a great design. As long as you can accept minimal apps and games, the N8 is great.0 -

So 24 month contract for £20 a month.
£20 x 24months = £480.
You get 750 mins, 500 texts, 1Gb internet
GIFFGAFF sim = free, for £10 a month you get 250mins but unlimited texts, unlimited net. £120 for 12 months (your not tied to a contract so could leave even earlier if you wanted). Plus handset cost of £350= £470.
(You don't need to have a great credit rating either)
I guess it depends on what your after, I tried the nokia handsets and didn't like them, others may love them its really a personal thing. (I loved the HTC range but can't afford either so am without anything at the moment!).
Moral of the story is? don't 'grab-it' unless your really going to use it or really need it. There will always be better offers if you know where to look (here/HDUK/etc etc) or who to ask (people on the forums).0 -

Have you had a look at the San Francisco, Jenniewb? It's a seriously impressive phone for less than £100 - several threads on HUKD, with people raving on about it being worth two or three times that.
It really is a very, very good phone. Not quite as good as an iPhone, but a serious competitor to it at the price.0 -

I know, I want it!Can't really justify it though, at the moment I'm struggling with paying bills and as I have gotten so used to not using a mobile (I had a 3 mobile service) I don't feel I really need one, I'd just like to have one! So if they do fall rapidly in price and I can afford it then I will but at the moment, then £200 odd it will cost me a year will nicely pay off some of my credit card bill.
