Is this about right for Gas?

Hi all

I'm with British Gas at the moment for both eleccy & gas.

I can't get my head around if my consumption is normal or high and would like to know if i am paying too much/too little.

I have a reasonably large 4 bed detached but its new build with a condenser boiler. I work from home and my partner is a SAHM so I guess we're in all the time, whereas my neighbour both go out to work so they're not in during the day.

I'm currently paying £65 per month for gas but showing £160 debit in my account which is worrying me. I know that in theory this should be corrected during the summer when we won't be using the heating so much.

So my question is basically does £65 sound about right? What I don't want is to underpay but at the same time it does sound like a lot! That said, its probably cheaper than the additional petrol if I had to travel to work!

What is your annual consumption in Kwh?
Is your debit based on an actual bill?
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I'm in a 4 bed semi, new boiler and a SAHM and we pay £103 a month dd for gas and the same for leccy. We had overpaid by £100 on each last year but they have kept the monthly payments the same to cover probable price increases. Probably not much help but £65 seems good ish to me.
