I think they are just too young to look after stuff like that. they go from robust plastic stuff that is indestructable to mega fragile electronics & they treat them both the same! Mine are 10 & 11 and getting craft type stuff, drawing materials, sweets, books and clothes. This is the first year I will not use credit and stick to a budget :eek:

I have already bought small gifts for all my nieces & nephews, OH & I will just be hoping for peace of mind!

Xmas dinner will be much as usual, me & OH always have lamb (probably a small roast) & the kids have chicken. Alway have xmas crackers as the kids love them so looking for a cheap box of those. Home made soup to start, maybe ice cream for dessert. We will stay at home and enjoy spending time together and watching old movies on TV.
