I've been following this too.
Seems to me that ACS:Law should be held liable for wasted costs. The whole operation was being run by them with Media CAT, ostensibly the claimant, appearing to be have been set up solely to act as such.
Few would shed a tear if Andrew Crossley were to find himself in the bankruptcy court at the end of this. The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.0 -
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
Check out the Parking Tickets Forum for a PPC threatening people with Norwich Pharmacal Orders. The man without a signature.0 -
Excellent news!
I sort of followed it. It's so pleasing to see so many people, companies and even a judge laying into ACS law. They got beaten0 -
Trouble is, apart from the firm that acted for a few, nobody else will be able to claim much in the way of costs.0

I think justice will/has been done in the form of karma. Crossley is now unemployable. Which law firm is going to employ him and pay the huge SRA indemnity fees for such a chump - that is if he isn't disbarred by the SRA at the forthcoming hearing. The man without a signature.0

There are some genuinely innocent people involved in this racket who, by way of threats and fear have paid up "settlements" to this smarmy low life.
The records are there and along with everyone else these people should be paid back, in full - innocent or not. He is not judge and jury.
How much of the money extracted form these people actually went to his noble cause?…………
Crossley:
"Spent much of the weekend looking for a new car. Finances are much better so can put £20-30k down. May go for a Lambo or Ferrari. I am so predictable!"0
