One can trade bonds etc offshore, but the tax status will depend on domicile and residence of the investor and the type of instrument.
Most banks permit opening of any number of bank accounts and offshore banks are familiar with capital/income arrangements. You should also take advice from a CTA who specialises in this topic as it is complex.0
