Best Replacement Bulb for G9 Light Fitting

Has anyone tried any energy efficient for a G9 light bulb? Usually buy Philips eco replacements like the below but they still don't last very long and don't save much electricity. One exploded this morning and pretty sure it was less then a year old.

I've done a search online and there don't seem to be any decent LED varietys of these but found a few which appear to be a different style.

Was wondering if anyone had used this type before and had any problems with the bulb or brightness in anyway? We have several of these lights which are used all the time in the lounge so it'd be nice to get some long life reliable ones.
