Any "advice" is accepted as given in good faith, but I also know that everyone's case is personally unique.
With my current set of GPs, some whom I know personally, and their practice nurses I am totally confident.
By their proactiveness I had rwo major ops ( one very), whereas my previous one let a situation continue until I needed an op just before things wold have been very nasty.

you're quite right! I shouldn't give advice full stop, let alone on such little information - it is the forum rules. I think I just wanted to reassure the OP that it wasn't the end of the world regarding the driving. I'll consider my wrist slapped!!!
