Any point applying for the same job again?

If you were not shortlisted for interview, apply again because your application may have been accidentally binned
If you were shortlisted for interview, apply again because you may have been a reserve candidate.
If they advertise again but say 'previous applicants need not apply', then don't bother. Not because you are minded to obey them, but because they are an arrogant shower of an outfit which could not pitch their advertisment correctly, nor indicate an offer which would attract the people they really want.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I wouldn't say it was any kind of sign at all: maybe it's a good one (they're slow at inviting to interview); maybe it's a bad one (the person sending out the rejections is very bust atm or they just don't do that any more).Bit of an update, I applied for the job again, the closing date was 21st, The last time I got the email 2 days after the closing date, this time I haven't heard anything so I can take that as a bad sign?
You could phone and ask, politely, if they have shortlisted yet.
:rotfl: There is also the possibility that the last batch of applicants were incapable of filling in an application form! It does happen! We have regular vacancies for our residential work, and sometimes we get a good batch, and sometimes a hopeless batch, in response to the same job ad for the same job!DVardysShadow wrote: »If they advertise again but say 'previous applicants need not apply', then don't bother. My current job I applied for (or was put forward by an agency for) about 3 times. Apparently there was some specific stuff they wanted that I hadn't put on my CV, so I redid my CV and I got an interview and offered the job there and then.0
