HI
Healthy Pets are very good, the only reason i left them was that the premium went up quite a bit, but then again, they all do at some point.
After looking recently myself, other good ones are:
Tesco
Direct Line
Sainsbury's
Argos
I have 1 with Petplan and 2 with TescoDFD February 2012

I'm with AXA, and the quote you have had seems pretty fair to me
I currently pay £6.11 for a 4 year old moggie, £8.62 for a 9 year old moggie, and a hefty £18.36 for a 10 year old Russian Blue
the last one has just been doubled, and I assume that is because of his age - 10 seems to be considered an age at which the risk of expensive treatments becomes more likely
£33.09 is a lot for me to find, but given the current level of vet fees for even simple conditions, I dare not cancel it0 -
Hi, I'm with PDSA:
Cat 1 is 6 and costs £5.40/month
Cat 2 is 2.5 and costs £4.59/month (previous injury/claim)
Give them a try (make sure you put in "moggie" when you do the quote as it makes a huge difference)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -

They are renowned for not paying out. 5 years ago i researched them for my horse insurance and was warned off them by just about everyone i spoke to. They may have changed since then but i doubt it.The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0 -
Honestly never had any problems with petplan,my dog who got run over and broke her leg the bills came to over £6500 in totally and they even paid the vets direct.
I found petplan to be totally worry free0 -
My vet a couple of weeks ago recommended Petplan as he said that they were the most likely to pay out and they were the easiest to deal with for him as Petplan have a vet line.0

Both my cats are insured with petplan. They have always paid out promptly and even paid out for dental work. Because the two cats are with them i get a multipet discount as well.0

Petplan, along with Purina, sponsor veterinary surgeries and events. That's why vets push their products
