Directed by David Grindley, Journey’s End tells the story of an 18 year old who joined the army towards the end of World War One. Set over four days in a dugout, it’s based on the author R.C. Sherriff’s own experiences in the trenches. It celebrates humour and courage in the face of certain tragedy.
