paypal problem -on hold payment

Hi any ideas or advice from the ebayers?
sold something sunday on a bin, buyer paid but then very shortly after paypal emailed saying there was a payment dispute, the payment was on hold and don't send the item.
monday i emailed the buyer asking if they had just changed their mind, or what was the problem?
they emailed back saying they didn't realise there was a problem, they hadn't done anything other than pay for it.
yesterday i phoned paypal and they told me there might not be a problem as such, but they sometimes just need to confirm that it is the buyer actually buying the item, and the buyer needs to reply to an email they have sent him.
i emailed the buyer telling them what paypal had said, and that the payment was on hold so i couldn't send the item until it was sorted.
the buyer has just emailed saying that on my listing i state that i will send in 1 business day and i have not kept to my word and the needed the item before the weekend, what am I going to do about it?
now i haven't actually got the money as its on hold,(so i can't refund) paypal have told me not to post the item until they confirm but the buyer apparently knows nothing about it. I don't want to upset the buyer so i've kept in contact but from his tone i can feel a neg coming on.:(
am i doing all right? should i do anything else?
