La Senza sizing

I'm sure this has been done to death... but I decided to get myself some new bras today as I haven't been fitted in about a year. Went to Bravissimo, get fitted as being basically midway between two cup sizes (sigh) but got two bras which fit lovely.
Went to La Senza to pick up some slightly cheaper ones (Bravissimo not being very MSE
) and I picked up a few bras, some in my smaller cup size and one in my bigger cup size (not very many styles in my bigger cup size!) and even the bigger cup size was too small! Absolute madness. (And that's the biggest size they do. At all.)
Sigh.

debenhams. once u reach DD+ u need to go to those specialist places. debenhams is far cheaper aswell. avoid m&s @ all costs.0

I know there are problems with consistent sizing in clothes generally, but bras have always been notorious for this. So much depends on the manufacturer and the style. TBH, I think you're a bit naive if you don't expect to have to try loads on, most of which invariably won't fit. That's just the way it is with tit slings."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Why avoid M&S?
I just take loads in with me, and then keep pressing the buzzer when I want different sizes!
OK, they do vary in fit from bra to bra, but so long as you try them and find one that fits nicely...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Debenhams you have to be careful with as all their brands are different sizing...
It drives me nuts as well :rotfl:
Bravissimo even measured me incorrectly once and another store had to give me a refund as it was so wrong...
If someone could invent a really good, comfortable t shirt bra for larger sizes they would make a fortune....0 -
Find out which brands fit you then order from Ebay.
I just got two Panache bras for less than half the price I would have paid Bravissimo.0 -
I recently bought 2 identical bras one in a B one in a C as I have put on a bit of weight:o I wore the C and was not happy with myself as it felt too small, resolved to diet;) Next day it feels much better but surely can't have lost weight so soon??? ope, I had accidentally put on the smaller one!! Its definately smaller not just incorrectly labelled but so much better a fit:cool:0
