OPCS pay as you go

Hi
I've got 2 x payments on my bank statement with "OPCS Pay as you go" - I'm on an orange 'phone and my orange PAYG payments show up as 'Orange' so I'm not sure what these payments are.... Barclays don't know either... Can anyone enlighten me please?

OPCS was the old name for the census people too - not been doing any family tree stuff?

thanks - I've not used on-line top-up! Barclays sending me a form to complete for fraudulent transaction.....

For the card that was used, do you have the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode active? As the Orange Top-Up Service uses this 3D Secure system - I'm just worried that they would have had to know this password for a Top-Up to go through and if the password has been used some banks decline or try to decline any requests if this has been used.

I've contacted Orange and asked them to confirm the dates of my last 4 x top ups just to make sure that these aren't they. Thanks for the replies everyone.

i also had opcs go out of my bank account and aslo money go out for company called clean heath? the total gone out was £60 and all happened yesturday,i havnt used my card to order owt :mad:

OPCS is short for Orange Personal Communications Services Ltd, the company that used to run Orange before Everything Everywhere Ltd took over.

Will be fraud. Hope barclays put the money straight back.

Odds on they made the payments by simply entering the card details into a phone.
