  • make sure you have B+E on your licence, if only B you don't have a licence to pull that size of trailer. also check the towing capacity of your tow vehicle

    Braked towing dolly only brakes the wheels on the dolly so the cars rear wheels are still unbraked and all wheels
    must be braked to comply fully. So yes still classed as unbraked.

    There are some systems that apply the cars brakes with various means, Motors, Pumps etc. But i have not seen any
    that are fully type approved, So legal or not?
