    3rd April.

I'm buying my Mam some Sanctuary Mela stuff so she can pamper herself. It smells fantastic. I just buy the regular bottles off the shelf rather than the gift sets as my Mam would rather have big bottles of product, rather than small bottles and a fancy cardboard box :money:

It is better to stay silent and be thought a fool, than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt. :p

    I did last year.

I knew my Mam was off work on the Thursday after Mothers Day. I gave her a small box of chocs to open on the day, and the instruction to be ready to be picked up on Thursday morning with her swimming costume.

I took her into Newcastle which puzzled her, and then to the City Baths which puzzled her even more as to why her gift was a trip to the swimming baths!

She didn't know they have a Victorian Turkish Bath in the basement, and we had a lovely morning of chilling out and I paid for her to have a massage.
Here I go again on my own....

I usually struggle with my Mom as she's got everything she wants now. But this year I've booked us both on a coach trip where we have a 3 course meal & tour around Derby for the day. Being a money saver I didn't pay for it, I got free vouchers from a coach company after complaining about a previous holiday :D
