Hi All,
I bought a washing machine about 2 years ago and last monday the door catch decided to brake, therefore leaving the machine completely unusable. well, on purchasing the washing machine i went for the 3 year extended warranty in case something like this happened. I called indesit on Monday, the first available appointment was for that Friday, booked the appt. Engineer arrived (outside the arranged 2 hour slot) and had brought the wrong part with him. he told me to leave it with him and he would come back on Monday. waited in like an idiot all day monday and no show. called indesit at 5pm and they said that maybe he will come the next day (tuesday), still no show, call them again and they book in for wednesday (today) as he has definitely got the right part. wait in until 11am, then get a phone call to say the engineer has been signed off sick for the rest of the week so nearest appt is monday. which is 2 weeks after the original call. Is there a reasonable time limit that they have to sort this out?? or do i just have to like it or lump it??? only having a rant as with 2 adults and 3 kiddies you can imagine my washing pile building up quite rapidly!!
thanks
