Hello.

I bought a Refurbished Car Stereo from a retailer on the weekend, however when I install it it does not power up at all. If I replace it with the original radio that powers up as normal. Im no expert at installing these items, but I have done it a few times in the past and never had any issues.

If I take the unit back to the retailer and report it faulty what are my options: can I demand a refund or will I have to accept a replacement? My understanding of the SoGA is that its status of refurbished still means it needs to be fit for purpose, I just need to know if I can demand refund rather than replacement or repair.

You are entitled to a refund, have you checked if it has a fuse , some have them in the back of the stereo and some have them inline on the wiring
