Was supposed to be a EDF 20/20 meter, had constant
problems over them 'reading' it wrong, and they put our
payment up to £70 a month. We watched and wrote down
how many times it clicked over and it was constant. Got in
touch and they finally sent someone to check it out, he took
one look and said it was the wrong one:mad: It was an Economy
10 meter it has been in since Feb. 2010, so he will let them
know and we need to see what they say about 13 months of bills which are probably wrong!

I think what staggers me is that someone who previously has a constant usage of, say £25 a month, gets a meter changed and suddenly the bills are three times that but the company still refuses to investigate! Come on! There's something going on isn't there?! You don't just think "ooh, look, a new meter. Let's put the tumble dryer on all day, every day, leave the hair dryer going for a month, and boil the kettle continuously for six weeks". So why do they think your bill's gone up? Hello, how about checking the new meter???"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
