Scottish Power - end of deal - totally confused!

I am going around in circles trying to figure out what to do!
I was on the Scottish Power " Online Fixed Energy Price 2011" which expired at the end of Feb. SP have reverted me to their standard tariff so have only been on that for a couple of weeks. They had offered me a capped price plan until Sept 2012 via email but I haven't taken this up as I simply do not know what to do for the best.
I have input my details into two comparison sites which show British Gas Websaver 11 coming up as cheapest, but the price per KWH is far far higher than the price I have been paying, even though it says the overall annual bill will be saving me over £100. I carefully worked out my annual usage so I know that is correct.
I find this simply too confusing to get my head around. I currently pay £80 pm for duel fuel and use 14,000 kwh of gas and 4325 of electricity annually.
All I want to know is will British Gas cost me more or less per month and if so how much?
Help!

If you are inputting your old fixed price tariff which will be based on prices as at Feb 2008, then current prices will be much more. Input SP standard tariff. BG websaver 11 comes up cheapest for me and I was on your SP fixed.0

The price per kWH is not the crucial factor-you have to take into account the standing charges, online discounts, annual loyaltydiscounts, cashbacks etc.
That's the whole point of using a comp site-someone else has already done all the maths for you.
The comp site is not comparing BGWS11 to your old tariff, it's comparing it to what else is available now. If it says that that one is cheapest, then it is.
Comparing it to what you paid before is not relevant, as that tariff has ended. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
