i have been having trouble with my asda credit card since santander took over from ge money the latest problem has been in feb 2011 my account closes on the 24 on each month in feb they moved this to 02.march 2011 i have spoken to them on the phone and they say it was an IT problem on many accounts in that month and that they couldent of let people know please check your feb/march account as this could put you in the red they say that any bank charges acruid due to this will be paid back buy them i am at the last stage of procedure with them over this and my letter to the onbudsman is already written and waiting postage i far as i know they can not change any details of your contract without letting you now first so this could br illegal if it has put you in the red claim it back from them and keep a eye on your statements from santander

My payment was late going out normally the 19th didnt go out until the second as well, but I dont know what your moaning at, I knew it hadnt gone out so I just left it in my account knowing they would take it, so unless you spent it you shouldnt have gone overdrawn, also you have to exhaust the banks offical complaints procedure of 8 weeks + before you can refer it to the ombisman, this one smells like a troll to me.
