Asda chosen by you??????

Having seen the adverts on tv, when in my local Asda i picked up a meal for 2 of chilli and pasta with a cheese sauce, it turned out to be pasta and cheese sauce with a tiny bit of chilli and no taste what so ever!! Don't waste your money buying this product and what makes me wonder is chosen by you????? By who?

Chosen by you - put on every product that has been bought by a paying customer. i.e. everything.

I bought the orange juice in this range and it was horrible, totally put me off anything with the 'chosen by you label'.

I don't get who its chosen by either, everything was already on sale anyway, its just sometimes put in a different pack size or something (like the muffins in individuals instead of 4's) and sometimes its exactly the same.

That woman banging on about soup like its a revolution and they've already been selling it for about 15 years! Infact they havent probably changed the variety or taste of 90% of stuff for years.

They probably just sat down a few old biddies that lived in leeds and said which 'muffins, soup, socks, bleach etc' do you prefer. Does anyone even take notice, its a crap marketing campaign the same products were also chosen for tesco, morrisons and sainsburys too because vast majority comes from the same places.

And i'm sick of seeing that bimbo on the adverts go on about that price thing, has anyone ever sat down with their mates with their asda receipts and a laptop and all compared what each other has 'saved' or is it just that sad cow from pudsey?

I can imagine the ASDA chosen by you panel going around homeless shelters going:

"Do you want some muffins, or NO muffins."

    "Some muffins please."

*Asda gets out a big marker pen, puts a tick by muffins.*

These muffins are CHOSEN BY YOU!"

The irritatingly nasal scots woman in the advert has just reinforced my resolve not to ever shop at Asda.

Apart from rearranging the words - isn't that what you thought you were getting?

All I can picture now is the Victoria Wood sketch :rotfl:

In all seriousness, I know people are all in a hurry these days and that is why convienience food sells so well, but does no-one know how to cook these days ?

A pasta in cheese sauce with chilli must take about 30 mins (if that) to make from scratch ? ( and taste a lot better and possibly cheaper as well?)
