Halifax Ultimate Reward Travel Insurance

Has anyone got any knowledge on the cover on this. I am going to Peru and Ecuador for an organised 20 days trek from Lima to Quito.

The policy wording I have from when I took out my bank account says:

You are not covered for...

Trekking unless You are waling on designated paths and not using specialist equipment.

I don't believe we are using any specialist equipment and this trek is also run every month so would presume they use the same paths too.

However it also doesn't state what altitude they cover to. Most policies I have been looking at tonight show 2000m as the standard cover rate.

I'll ring them tomorrow to confirm but wondering if anyone else had any input ??
