Yay!!! Sainsbury's

Sainsburys have been absolutley fan-blooming-tastic and deserve some praise.

I am housebound at the moment with a 4.9 year old and a 14 month old and a husband who works long hours and is trying to look after us and do housework. So went on to the Sainsburys website on Tuesday and went to book a delivry expecting next day or Thursday morning at the latest only to find I couldn't get a delivery till Saturday afternoon, which was really no good at all. So I rang their call centre and explained the situation and the fact that my local Sainsburys was only a mile up the road. The gentleman at the call centre (Paul) was really good and said he would do some ringing round and see what he could do and to get started on an order. So I did my order and sent it. As soon as it appeared on his computer Paul rang me to say that Sainsburys would deliver it to me on Wednesday after 4.00 and would that be alright. It definatly was for me as I wasn't going any where any way. It arrived at 4.30 today so I was able to cook a good healthy meal for my family at tea time.

I can't thank them enough for their wonderful service and the way Paul bent over backwards to help and kept me informed all the way on what was happening. What brilliant service. Yay!!! Sainsburys.

Well done Sainsburys ...........that is the sort of customer service that needs mentioning . What about a quick letter to Head Office praising this member of staff ?

That is a good idea Lady E. It is sadly very seldom that people get praise, it is so often only complaints these days.

Great - Pauls a real legend!
  • I have contacted Sainsbury's themselves and let them know what a wonderful service I recieved, making sure I told them who helped me. Have had an email back from them today thanking me for letting them know.

To often people will tell everyone when they have had bad service but not when they have had good service. So I thought I would redress that balance slightly.

So once again can I say Yaaaaay!!! Sainsburys!!!

    That's great service.

I've just started using their delivery service, after not having done so for a couple of years, and until yesterday, it going really well. On time, good fresh produce, no substitutes. Unfortunately yesterday they were over an hour late, but called during the hour time slot to say they were delayed. No problem was working from home, so not a real issue. Then when they arrived a £10 voucher given to me off my next shop, 2 items missing. They then arranged for someone to deliver them later, they called beforehand to check I was in, and when the missing goods arrived, they had given me 2 extra ones free! Now that's what I call service. OK so they messed up, but did all in their powers to get my order to me. One happy customer! Thank you Sainsburys.
