although it looks stupid, is it really that moronic? if you put all the rooms on one floor called it a one bedroom flat then it wouldn't really be that out of the ordinary, a bit on the small side maybe but not ludicrously so. difficult to know whether the price is ridiculous or not as it's the only 1 bed property on the market in framlingham (although that does suggest a general lack of demand!)0

Crikey.... shows the madness of it all. My fairly large 70's built 3 bed semi with garage and garden cost me 1/3 of this house in only 1990!!0

As much as I'd be interested to view the details, ultimately it's not large enough for long-term living and all the stuff you have/keep/store "in case" and hobbies. I mean, picking some interests of mine at random: where'd I keep the kayak (7' long), or my bike? And I'd need a utility/workshop with running water and power for my hobby.
Not exactly big on outside space either.... while one only needs space for a chair and a folding washing line, it's nice to have a bit more in case somebody pops round and expects a plastic table under their cucumber sandwiches.
I also suspect the living room is only 4'6" wide because the house is 7'2" wide and there are stairs in it, although they're "paddle stairs" so maybe they're only 2' wide, making the living room 5'2" wide.0 -

Give it 20 years and four times the average salary will buy you this.....
Which isn't as good a deal as it seems, because you'll still have to pay the caravan park an exorbitant rent to park it there as well.
That's an incredibly witless prediction H because it flouts one of the absolute cornerstones of your little pack of theories about HPI, namely that it’s politically popular because it benefits most voters [to be honest what you more often say is that it benefits most people, but this is so foolish that I can’t bring myself to mention it other than in passing].
If, in 20 years’ time, the average wage could only buy that then housing affordability would have been poor for so long that the median voter would be desperate for lower prices [e.g. via more housebuilding]. Any party offering this would be elected by a landslide. Ergo it would happen, or more precisely all parties would be offering the same thing.
