Many thanks Flyboy152. But what does that have to do with the price of cheese? Unless the OP has a hi-po or converted Ka then it will be running drums (with brake shoes) at the rear, not discs. If it were discs it would be an even quicker job.0

Are posting on the right thread? :huh:The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
My local KwikFit is very good. They will price-match tyres and any brake work; they passed my MOT with a minor advisory where the main dealer said it would definitely fail (I didn't believe the main dealer). They spent time freeing a seized brake cylinder, free of charge. Others would have charged for a new cylinder.

I can assure you the car does not have drums on the back but has discs and pads. It would have been a lot cheaper if I got the parts myself and did the work myself but I don't really have the facilities to be able to do that.0 -

I think there may have been a clue in the OP's original post if you had read it.Whiteknight wrote: »I went to a garage chain (Kwik Fit) to ask for an price on how much it would cost to replace the back brakes and disks on the car and to check if there is a problem with the handbrake.0
