Lowcostholidays.com legal advice needed

My partner booked a holiday with them on the 12th February to Malaysia. They took the money out immediately but then phoned up half an hour later saying that a)she had entered my birthday incorrectly and b) the price had gone up. Smelling a rat, she immediately cancelled the booking. However 22 working days later (and many, many phone calls) the money has not been returned.
Can anyone please give some practical advice as to what to do next. If this involves legal action (and I suspect it would), what do I need to do to get the ball rolling?
Thanks in advance
