Planning and Building question (Newbie)

I have bought a house a year ago with a benefit of a full planning permission. Recently, I have decided that it would be a good idea to utilize that permission as it expires soon. I have downloaded the plans and all the documents of the council website, but I could not find the building regulation drawings on there. Can somebody tell me where can I get them?

From the person who did the drawings, the BR drawings are not required for PP so maybe they were not done.0

From the architect, planning consultant or whomever did the drawings and submitted the app for the previous owner.
Seriously, didn't you ask for all the documentation relating to the app to be given to you as part of the purchase?0 -
You don't even need BR drawings for building regs, you can do it on a building notice if you want.0

You do not need BR drawings to get planning permission, so they may not have been done yet. I have just obtained planning permission for my house, but I didn't want to pay for the BR drawings before I knew if PP would be granted or not.
Yes, you can do it on a building notice, but a builder is likely to need something more than the PP drawings to quote properly on. There will be no details of foundations, or lintels, or roof beams etc on a PP drawing.
Finally, if you start the build then the planning permission won't expire. So if there is something small you can do, like put a window in or demolish an outbuilding, do this first, then you can look for an Architect/builder at your leisure. I am happy to be corrected if this is not the case any more, but it certainly used to be.
