Amex swapping cards on me

Hi,

I have had an American Express Blue cashback card (no annual fee) for about 6 years now at least. Today I received in the post, as the card is due to expire, my replacement card.

However this is an Amex Platinum Credit Card, no mention so far in Ts & Cs of annual fee, cashback etc etc..

Anyone else had this - hopefully I am not losing out in some way?

    They're pretty much the same. I think the Blue is being phased out.

    My Amex is the gold credit card which doesn't appear on the site anymore either, so when that card expires in November so I'm guessing that'll change too. Seems to offer pretty much the same as the platinum as ZX81 says (happy belated 30th birthday BTW!)

    Thank you. I was beginning to think everyone had forgotten. Bet my younger brother, Spectrum, got loads of cards. Cheeky upstart.
