Road tax price changes

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker

Hi, Can anyone help. My road tax used to be £120/year. It has now dropped to £90/year. This is a great saving but nothing has changed so why have I not been paying £90 for the last 5 year I've had the same car?

    They changed the levels on 1.4.2010 for band D (121 - 130 g/km CO2). Trying to encourage Joe Public and the car manufacturer's to go for less polluting cars.
    Same thing happened to me for OH's Honda Jazz 1.2. I paid for 6 months only (£66) in Jan 2010 so I'd take advantage of the new lower rate earlier.
