BT from Natwest Yourpoints Mastercard to Halifax Clarity

Hello
i got the Natwest Yourpoints at the end of September, to build up my credit history and have since been using it and paying it off (first minimum to take advantage of the 0% offer, now in full every month).
As I travel to Spain at least a couple of times a year and am also preparing a big trip to India, I applied for the Clarity one yesterday and got accepted. Now I don't really need all this credit (1,400 on Natwest and arounn 4,500 with Halifax one, still to be confirmed when I get all the paperwork). I was wondering if it is better for me to do BT to Halifax and close the Natwest one, or whether I should keep it open for at least a year. It is highly unlikely I need to use both.
I must say though , I have been banking with natwest for 10 years now and have a very good relationship with them- I have no debts apart from around 200 a month on the CC...am just a bit concerned that all this credit might not look too good on my file, even though I only use 250 or 300 tops each month and repay in full.
When I start preparing the trip to India, I will use the Halifax one to keep everythign separate, but I am saving the money for the flights etc... anyway...
Thanks,
A.

How much do you owe on each card?
What are the current rates on each card?
Are there any "go to" rates on each card?
When do any "go to" rates kick in?
What is the real cash value of these Nat West points?0 -

What are the current rates on each card?- Natwest- 16.9 %, Halifax 12.9% This is the Clarity one, with no fee if used abroad, which is the main reason I went for it.
Are there any "go to" rates on each card? Halifax accepts BT with no fee
When do any "go to" rates kick in? I am not sure what you mean by this, I am pretty new to this
What is the real cash value of these Nat West points?- not much- I think after alsmot six months, I might be able to get a free cinema ticket at some point soon- quite irrelevant for me to be honest- but that was the best the Nawest offered and it was my first cc with a 6 months 0% on purchases
Hi Opinions
I have answered most of your questions- I am pretty new to cc, and I am just using them to build up my credit rate- I have never borrowed or had CC before, so I have an almost non-existant credit history. As I said, I am pretty good and controlled with money, but I am a bit wary that too much credit available might harm my profile goign forward.
Thanks a lot,
