Personally I would do the 3 months on a Three Mobile Phone.

I had one of there own branded phones (Skype S2, which you can buy on eBay for pennies now) and I used it as modem. Essentially you use plug it in to the USB port as you would with a dongle and your computer uses it to access the net ( pretty decent speeds too, HSDPA/HSUPA most of the time).

Anyways the S2, you can pick up for pennies and Three's pay as you go tariff gives you 300 mins, 3000 text and ALL YOU CAN EAT DATA for £15.


3 Months at £15 plus £5-10 for the phone. Jobs a good 'un.


Plus Points. Instant BB - No Connection Fees - No waiting a week to have the landline switched on and then another 5 day for BB to activate - No contract - No Early Disconnection Fees - No Credit search (if this is an issue).

Bad Points In my experience. Streaming can be hit an miss depending on the time of day.
