Any news on yours yet Shineytoaster?
  • HE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He rocked in at 3.20am, chirruped an hello and headbutted me for ages without a care in the world! He stunk to high heaven though - just like a campfire so I think that he had been around the lake as we found a few burnt out campfires there. My neighbour found out that someone at the far end of the street had seen a new tabby lurking at the end of her garden.

I am guessing that he has grown-up so, after he has been in for a while, I am going to have to let him play out. The plan of action is to put a catflap in the garden gate (I live in a terrace so the walls are really high) so he can come and go as he pleases. All I can say is god help the local small animal population.

Thank-you so much for your words of encouragement and advice. You are all a bunch of stars! :):):)

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

I'm so pleased both are back safe and sound.
  • Shinytoaster I'm so very pleased for you!! I was hoping for this all day!!

Woody is fine, he was very cold this morning so I put the heating on (We NEVER have the heating on in the mornings!) and put his bed by the warm air vent and he thought that was marvellous! Needless to say, I've not let him out today, and won't tomorrow either!

(yes his bed is a cardboard box. You can't tell a cat what to sleep in, he'll always choose for himself.)

I'm so pleased your management is back, I know how upsetting it is when they go AWOL.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)
