Every month on the 15th I do a payment from my Bank of Scotland Reward account to my Lloyds account and it always goes faster payment, but today it tells me it will be via bacs and will take 3 days ?.
Have they changed something or should I just try later ?.
Thanks.

I would try later, I often get that message when trying to make a Faster Payment. Their system is notoriously unreliable0

was working earlier but because of their new system being implemented it has not been working for some time
try later and see if it works0 -

Little tip - if it will not send, just cancel and try re-submitting again, this works for me.
If it does not go and you know it has been sent as a faster payment in the past (and you are sending less than £1000) just try later.
Some sort codes do not accept faster payments in so be aware of this.0 -
I think there might be something going on at the minute with their FP. I don't generally have a problem, but was unable to send a small amount via FP from *any* of my three Reward accounts yesterday, either to LTSB or to First Direct. Tried the usual even-smaller amount trick, tried logging out and back in - no change. I left it until this afternoon and tried again, but still wasn't able to. The message wasn't the usual "on this occasion..." one, but rather an error message.
In the meantime two other family members had sent FPs from their Halifax accounts, so I knew FPs weren't down across the board - and I was able to transfer money instantly into one of their accounts, so they sent it to First Direct for me, and it went via FP without any problem.0 -

Its a bit of a odd one as after trying I gave up and just let it go as a bill payment (2-3 days), debited the account around midnight and appeared in my Lloyds account instantly under the reference FP, so I have not got a clue.0 -
When my Halifax account gives me this message I split the amount into two or three smaller payments and they usually go through OK.
I agree it is a huge pain and a massive flaw in the system.0 -

Yes, good advice. Luckily I know all the little tricks!
Doesn't make it any less frustrating though.0 -

I think it's the £1000 limit that has just caught me out with a regular transfer to the Coventry BS - as a result of it taking 3 days over the BH weekend I've just been charged £40 in unpaid direct debit charges by the Coventry because the credit arrived 1 day late(!)
When I complained the Halifax agreed to reimburse my Coventry charges. The Coventry were very unhelpful - I shall be moving my business with them elsewhere.0
