The salt is quite high up in the list of ingredients too. I won't be buying this, I'll stick to olive, sunflower and butter. It's not like I use much oil when cooking anyway.

The fact that it is advertised by Vernon Kay and his 'mum' is enough to put me off!

My personal opinion is products like this are rubbish foodstuff.

Stick to the simple rule of buying foods that each contain the fewest possible ingredients, most of the time, consume a variety of these foods in moderation and you won't go wrong healthwise. If you want to lose weight use less of them.

No need for these over-processed fake "foods".

I have always used olive oil and butter but I like Flora Cuisine. Last weekend I used it for roast potatoes and the family commented how good they tasted. I have used it for biscuits (melting method) crumbles and sauces. I would have used butter for all these things before.

OH loved it when he fried eggs this morning for breakfast. He was a bit worried about the colour, but persevered and they slid out of the pan onto the plate. tasted wonderful

  • The advert does not mention that olive oil contains twice as much monounsaturates (those that are good for you and reduce LDL chlorestoral).

Also compare the list of ingredients. Olive oil has one ingredient and it is natural.

Statistics, statistics - 45% of not very much is, er, not very much.

Save your money and eat as naturally as possible, this is yet another 'value added' processed food to replace perfectly healthy natural products.....Some will fall for it because it is on the telly so it must be true.

It sounds vile! It could be produced by blind nuns but as it's advertised by Vernon then no way would I buy!
