Tuesday 15th March - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:T
Ha ha ha I have actually just copied & posted my whole post from yesterday as I didn't do very much/am doing exactly the same things! I might go to a Lecture on personalisation in mental health services tonight but I might feel really lazy after work and not bother!
Stitchy I hope you are feeling better today & get posting girl!
smiles & hugs to everyone x

Morning:D
Not much happening here for me today - I'm happy as I finished the last of my outstanding assignments left over from last year of my course - when I was off work for yonks and then had the op I got really behind. So, seeing as I'm in the 2nd year of the course I can concentrate on the 2nd year work...not last year's...all done:beer::beer:
Ok...better crack on with my list:- check banking
- check onepoll
- empty airing cupboard of clean clothes
- bring washing in off the line (forgot to bring it in yesteryda, just opened curtains and seen it;))
- meal from plan tonight - spag bol/chilli)
- mince defrosting in fridge
- packed lunch for dd2
- hoover lounge
- free cuppas at work
- pick up a few groceries
- check ebay listings
- sparkle:T
- crash out on sofa and watch Holby, then bed;)
I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Morning, back to normal day shifts today but a late night because of working late turn and being on call. I feel like I've had too much to drink! Hey ho!
1. Check banking - done, those two big payments still haven't gone out but I know they'll take me unawares the day before pay day, just like last month!!!!
2. Take lunch to work
3. Drink water all day at work (back on diet, managed to drink 1.5l yesterday which is the first time in months, brilliant!)
4. OH posting all eBay items sold yesterday off today, all paid. One item being picked up later netting up a cool £40!
5. Wait up late again, this time for Ocado delivery coming between 10 and 11. But that meant the £75 shop that we got £15 off of and £8 cash back was free, total MSE! So will be getting the meat to last until pay day. Told OH last night that in the next two weeks we will buy some fresh veg but nothing else (only have £20 left!)
6. Work hard, enjoy my food, focus on the diet
7. Keep up my diary. I started it yesterday. I hope it will focus me on the money and the diet. Yesterday was a very good day on the diet. A lot of £ spent as OH car had to go into garage but otherwise I didn't spend any £!
So. Have a good day everyone. Keep focussed. Hopefully that will keep me focussed too!If you knew it then you know it!

Good morning all, and thanks to DNMS for starting the thread. I'm up and ready for work, but finding it hard to get motivated today. I came home at lunchtime yesterday as I had a steaming headache, really couldn't concentrate and kept making mistakes - not good when I do the firm's accounts and payroll!!! Two hours of stitching corsets and the headache had gone and I was feeling bright as a button.

List so far:- checked banking
- checked for surveys
- made lunch to take to work
- had warming porridge for breakfast to fill me up
- fed and watered the chickens
- boxed 6 eggs to sell
- do half an hour overtime before work
- charge mobile at work
- keep an eye on surveys during the day
- do a half hour walk at lunchtime
- either read or work overtime for the other half hour
- do an hour overtime after work (if I last that long!)
- finish waspie corset sample and take photos
- start corset belt sample (logging number of hours to calculate labour costs)
- dinner from stores
- have an NSD
