Looking for a DVD recorder with Hard drive

My old Panasonic DMR-HS2 has finally packed up. The DVD tray is stuck, won't go in or out. Had stripped it down but can't find what it is causing it.
Am now looking for a multi region dvd recorder with a harddrive. Budget is below £250 but will extend it if worth it.
It must be multi region or be easily converted to multi region. Any recommendations? Are panasonic still troublesome. Mine had problems turning on so in the end i just left it on all the time.

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
