Looks like a good price for this Yamaha. Aston do make some decent guitars and the Dualler is easy to play but not great sounding. Problem with cheaper guitars even a Yamaha is the set up especially the string height which can be too high for easy playing. At that price and a proper set up by a guitar shop its a good option. Yamaha aren't the best guitars overall but they do make decent cheapies. The above mentioned Vintage is a decent guitar. Whatever you buy try first and make sure it feels comfortable. I would avoid cheap electro acoustics.
  • I picked up the guitar today... It is most definitely brand new and a yamaha. The seller said it was an unwanted gift so I guess I was just lucky. I'll post a photo tomorrow of it :) it is quite pretty :)
I was just tuning it a minute ago and I broke one of the strings :s great start eh?? It snapped off and cut me on the hand :( so I need to buy a new string tomorrow... Which is pretty annoying cos I did want to have a quick play tonight... Never mind...
Thank you to everyone who replied to my post you've all been really helpful :) x

Buy a full set of strings, your gtr will sound much better - and get an electronic tuner - I must have wasted days tuning guitars by ear when I could have been playing.:)
