Brake Fluid Cost

Sounds fair. 30 mins or Hour labour depending on what the minimum they charge is, £10 tops for fluid. Fast fits used to be around £30 but have crept up.0

At my last service the Jaguar dealer quoted £75 to change brake fluid. I told them Peugeot did it for £30 on my last car so they price matched.

I'd like to think they'll bleed the system through for that price too, as opposed to the half-arsed "drain and refill" way some do it...0

I think that it goes without saying, that a brake fluid change is a complete drain and re pressurise.
At least I hope it would be.0 -
I agree, but lets not forget, by simply draining and refilling the resevoir, the fluid looks all nice and clean again...Or am I being unfairly cynical?I think that it goes without saying, that a brake fluid change is a complete drain and re pressurise.
At least I hope it would be.
