Really stupid question

Just got a new debit card - does this mean I have to make any changes to the DDs I already have set up?
Can't remember what happened last time I got a new card. I was assuming it's automatic/no change as it's associated with my account rather than my card, but I've had a couple of calls from one of the companies I have a DD with (it's a finance company that's never contacted me before so I doubt they would be trying to sell me something), but I've been at work both times.

DD are set up on your current account and not on your debit card so will be unaffected by a change in debit card
you can however also have payments set up against a debit card but they are not DDs
do you know what payment you have got set up?0 -
Thanks!
It's listed under DDs in my online banking, I'm assuming there would be another section for payments set up against a debit card...?0 -
I never make any regular payments on a debit card because of the difficulties it causes to cancel them so I'm not sure about whether they are listed .. on my a/cs I can't see any heading for them but that may be because I don't have any.0

Recurring card payments are not listed on your bank details as the bank doesn't hold any records of them.0

Thanks, it's showing on my statement as a DD.0
