Refund for National Express coach delays ?

Was wondering if anyone had any experience of trying to get a refund with National Express coaches for a delay.
A search on google brings up a 50% refund for journeys with a delay of over 30 minutes, but this seems to be for the east coast journeys, which mine wasn't.
Anyone know what their policy is for delays. (Reason was due to the fact that the coach wouldn't start in Birmingham & they had to call a mechanic out if that makes a difference.)
Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt bother! I travelled from Leicester to London with them, the coach broke down just outside Leighton Buzzard and we were stuck at the side of the M1 for an hour until a mechanic showed. We limped into Luton where we were herded onto other already full coaches and finally got to London about 2 hours late.
I did ask about a refund but was advised not to bother as it was rare that refunds were authorised... so I didnt bother!*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

They no longer run trains.
The point being that the information you found ...
a) has no relevance to National Express coach delays, and
b) is out of date.
National Express Coaches' General Conditions of Carriage seem to be quite restrictive on the subject of refunds.
They do however say that when you deal with them as a consumer, they do not exclude your statutory rights.
That's good of them... they have no choice on that.0
