help with a faulty competition win

Hi

can anyone offer any advice?

we won one of the polaroid cameras in the britvic comp last year but it was faulty so britvic told us to send it back to polaroid which we did three months ago. polaroid have since said that they no longer can get the cameras and britvic have said that it is not their responsibility even though the comp was through them. does anyone know if when you win a competition the runners of the comp are responsible for prizes?

I would think that it's Polaroid's responsibility and not Britvic's. Have Polaroid offered any further information? If they can't replace that particular camera, have they not offered you an alternative?

I would think that if the product doesn't exist anymore, none of them can help with your faulty camera.

I would think that legally neither are responsible, their competition t&c's will cover it, but it would seem that 2 companies have now screwed their reputations !!
