ppi payments

hi all
i have a barcalcard credit card and have realised that my ppi payment is not included in my miniumum payment. i dont really look at my statements as i always pay the miniumum payment every month, but have just realised what has been happening and my balance has been going up every month instead of coming down.. im now over my limit even tho i have not spent on the card for a year! and have now been getting charged £12 a month for a good year... can i reclaim any of these charges?
thanks

As a rule, no. Mininum payments didn't have to take account of PPI. But you may get a sympathetic response if you're very lucky.

And open those statements from now on. They contain all sorts of interesting information, such as how much you owe, to who, whether your credit report is about to be trashed, etc.
