replacing plasterboard walls, insulation?

My claim for building repairs has been approved following storm damage. Water came into the bedroom and kitchen due to wear and tear of the roofing felt. This has now been repaired (my responsibility) and I am just going to post my excess cheque to start the work indoors.
The walls in question are timber framed with tiles to the exterior, plasterboard inside with no insulation material. The internal plasterboard is to be removed and replaced.
Will the new wall be complete with insulation or should I expect to cover the cost myself? I don't know the current requirements for building standards so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I am not clued up on building regs but, if since the house was built it has come complusory to have the insulation then you will get it FOC as part of your claim but if its not part of building regs then you would need to pay for it.0

I though that if you disturbed more than 50% of a thermal layer (like plasterboard) on a wall then the whole wall had to be brought up to current building regs standards.
Betterment might be an issue, on the other hand they can't do the job without adding the insulation.
Might be worth a call to your local building control department0 -

Definitely worth a call to building control dept.
The policy will likely include cover for bringing property upto regs so even if it is betterment then insurers would still pay if it needs to be done.0 -
Thank you for your help. I'll follow your advise and make that call.
Apologies for late response. Internet problems.0
