Supposing I wanted to sell my flat in London and rent it back. Is there much of a practice of doing this in London, and would I find that estate agents were understanding of it? It seems to be more of a commercial property thing, but it would be a logical enough thing to do for a private property too. If I do it, is there a mechanism I can use to ensure that my landlord charges a fair rent (for at least five years say)?
