I have a samsung r580 laptop. I am thinking of changing and upgrading my tv. Can i plug my laptop into the TV and use the tv screen as the laptop screen?
I guess i need leads? How much? Is it fiddly? Do all modern tv's now have this facility? Thanks.

You would need an HDMI lead, they cost peanuts off Ebay. All new HD TVs come with HDMI connections. Check the laptop specs to be sure."...IT'S FRUITY!"0

The above assumes your new television will have either VGA or HDMI inputs available.I guess i need leads? How much?
As an example for you, I have just paid £4.50 for a 10 metre HDMI lead from Amazon which works perfectly. Is it fiddly?Do all modern tv's now have this facility? Thanks.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0
