Hi - in short. neighbour has 100% CPU usage constantly due to aawservice.exe running constantly.

I tried to remove via Control Panel => Add/Remove => no joy

Any tips to remove this? Don't really want to remove the raw files due to Registry and can't see any uninstall option with Startup?

Help appreciated, thanks.

or stop and disable the service by running services.msc

Tried services.msc, can't see the task anywhere, sorted A-Z or otherwise.

Cheers for reply. I'll try re-install.

Try using Appremover as it is designed to remove security applications, including Ad Aware, fully. You can also clean up a failed uninstall as well with it.
