Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with the Kalixa prepaid card?
I signed up last week, transferring £80 from my bank account on to the card. Unfortunately I have no account details to access my online account. I have emailed them twice, but am yet to receive a reply. I have also tried contacting their customer services by phone, the number is a premium rate number (0905) each time I phone, all I get is an automated message saying that their offices are closed. Each phone call has cost me £2 (total of 6 phone calls = £12) I am now £92 out of pocket and have no idea how to get it back.
I have contacted the Financial Ombudsman and Consumer Services, but as I live in the Channel Islands they are unable to help.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You'll have chosen a Username & Password when you signed up for the card initially. It's not their fault if you forgot what you chose

Thanks for the number.
I use the same user name and password for every site and have done for years. So I assume that there is an error on their side.
Even if I had managed a typo in both password forms, getting hold of them to resolve the issue is impossible.

Does your "common" username contain numbers?

Yes it does, it appears as though the problem is with the password.
Unfortunately I always fill the password/user name recover answers with random letters as I never forget my password
(its been my password for everything, for the past eight years) Therefore have never needed to use a password recovery
I could have made the same typo in both password forms when signing up.0
